Speaker Bio: Don Mabry , President and Chief Operating Officer, ClearTrack Information Network

Don Mabry is chief operations officer of ClearTrack Information Network, a leading provider of comprehensive supply chain software and services for the consumer retail and transportation industries.  Mabry joined ClearTrack in 2001 as chief technology officer, where he completed the successful launch of a supply chain event management software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering to Dollar General, Toshiba America and Kraft Foods.

 

Since then, Mabry's leadership and passion for enabling business with the innovative application of technology and services have become hallmarks of his tenure at the company.  During the past 9 years, Mabry has headed ClearTrack's technology development and operations area delivering industry leading supply chain execution applications for new retailers including Tractor Supply, JC Penney's and Academy Sports+Outdoors.  He was promoted to chief operating officer in 2003 with day-to-day responsibility for running company operations, including client services, finance, human resources, general administration, marketing and technology.

 

 

Prior to joining ClearTrack, Mabry served as senior vice president of engineering for iXL Enterprises, a technology design and development company, delivering comprehensive technology solutions to FedEx, Novell and International Paper.  Prior to iXL, Mabry was senior technology director for Hilton Hotel Corporation, where he was responsible for a industry leading business-to-consumer e-commerce web site for the on-line marketing and booking of hotel rooms and meeting services.  Mabry has also held technology positions of increasing responsibility in the Internet start-up industry, as well as AT&T and Tennessee Valley Authority's nuclear power program.

 

Mabry is a graduate of the University of Alabama, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and the Owen School of Graduate Management at Vanderbilt University with a Masters of Business Administration.

We are always interested in hearing your input on speakers you’d like to have present at our PDMs. Please help us identify people for the following types of areas: - Distribution - Industrial Engineering / Process flow and improvement - Human interest (anybody have a high profile connection that would be interesting?) - Technology / Systems developments - Professional Development – new methods / techniques We are planning joint meetings with IIE (Institute of Industrial Engineering) in October, and in March 2011 we will have our scheduled joint meeting with ISM (Institute for Supply Management).

CSCP Exam and Registration

To become a certified CSCP, three dates must be kept in mind associated with each scheduled testing period. The Exam Date itself, the Exam Registration Deadline Date and the Eligibility Application Deadline Date. The CSCP candidates will have several opportunities to take the exam in a computerized test mode through Pearson VUE and three opportunities this year to sit for the paper end pencil version of the exam.
