Happy New Year! APICS MITE hopes that you’ve had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday season, and please accept our best wishes for a prosperous 2012! For our January PDM, we’re asking ourselves some critical questions about the link between our competitive position and environmental initiatives. Is there a link? How does being ‘green’ impact our ability to be competitive? Join us as Ms. Betts will provide an overview from her recent research regarding the effects of manufacturing plants’ competitive capabilities on the adoption of environmental practices. Further analysis from this research examined specific combinations of competitive capabilities and environmental practices and their influence on business performance. Over 500 plant and operations managers participated in this survey based research. Results will be presented from a multi-industry sample as well as from within specific industries. Reserve your place today by clicking here or by emailing programs@apicsnashville.org.
